God Can Do Anything
God is on the move, and having the privilege of being involved in what He’s doing is staggering. Thank you because I know that none of this would be possible without the spiritual and financial support you faithfully offer. May God’s abundant grace and ability to bless, chase you down, and kiss your whole face.
Step-by-Step
On January 1st, I’ll release four new books on 190,000 prison tablets. The first two are daily readings. One is a simple and direct interpretation of scripture to start the day. The second is a new thought filled with hope and encouragement to sleep on.
Next comes a 13-week study about learning to communicate with God. It includes daily assignments and 26 videos that walk inmates through the workbook. All written and spoken in my no-nonsense, practical manner. All this was very new and challenging.
Lastly is the audio version of Deep in the Heart of Texas. My most remarkable feat to date. Not only am I the one who wrote the book, but now I am the one reading it. And the most exciting part? It is the only audiobook on this prison app. Think of the people in prison who cannot read English, cannot read at all, or do not enjoy reading. Having this available will increase my audience by at least 50%. Wow!!! This was a painfully difficult process that I’ll further explain in the audiobook launch. It will be available at A Radical Difference on Dec.1st—just in time for Christmas. Yay!
Last year, I spoke 84 times and only 23 this year. This drop-off was required to obey God and complete these projects. I sure have missed the excitement of speaking, but my willingness to be obedient has become more important than feelings. Positive or negative ones.
On-and-On
These days, the thing that gets me high is the possibility of offering a new perspective to the maximum amount of people. Love it. As usual, the Lord has faithfully provided the needed cash thus far.
But these new expenses seem astronomical. Formatting and uploading material saves me a lot and reaches people across the country, but it still costs big bucks.
In addition to that, there are 6,103 facilities in the United States. To date, I only “live” in 326 institutions via tablet, making printing and mailing books still extremely necessary.
