The World Offers a Gamble. God Offers a Guarantee.
I have to be honest with you all. Trick or Treat—it sounds a little corny, but it’s a perfect idea. The world offers us a trick or a treat, so it’s a gamble: either it does something good for me or it’s going to be terrible. But when you’re operating in the Kingdom of Heaven, you’re either getting a new truth in your life or a fabulous treat from the Lord. Either way, you’re winning.
Here’s The Truth: Don’t Get Robbed of the Good Stuff.
You are a believer, and we are a little odd—we don’t really fit in with what normal people would do or say. But we have the power to impact the world with truth. If we’re not full of life, love, and hope, people don’t get to see that, and they get robbed.
That’s why I’m being conscious about sharing my life and handing out books this month. I have a nonprofit organization, A Radical Difference, and I go around giving away my book that is now on one million tablets. Sharing the book with one woman in a Walmart parking lot proved: she wasn’t alone, and God was paying attention.
What This Means For You: Harvest Time.
Don’t get robbed of what God has for you. He has a beautiful, awesome life planned and prepared for you that you can just walk right into. Enjoy this season of harvest and plenty of everything that you need. We have the power to impact the world with truth, so don’t be afraid to share it.
