TimeOut: It is finished 🦁 | Happy New Year 2026 🎇
This was a hard, hard year.
Happy New Year, guys. It’s finally going to be a new year.
I’ll be honest: This has been a hard year for my family. We have suffered a lot of loss, pain, and unusual circumstances. I’ve been in the middle of trying to finish my book, and it has been very laborsome.
But here is what I know: God has been faithful through all of it. He has made a way in every situation we faced. Even though all of them aren’t resolved yet, I look at my history and I know He is trustworthy.
Do Something Different
As you go into this new year, I want you to do something different. Change your mind. Because changing your mind changes your perspective, and that changes what you do.
You have to be honest with yourself about where you are weak or falling short. Listen, if you aren’t honest with you, no one else is going to be. No one else can change you but you.
Acknowledge Him in ALL Your Ways
My word for you for 2026 is Proverbs 3:5-6.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Don’t try to figure it out yourself. And when it says “acknowledge Him,” that means make Him a part of it. Make Him involved. Make what you are doing something that makes His name proud.
If you do that, He will direct your path. He will figure out what you can’t. 2026 can be different.
