Learning to Live Well ✨
In this “TimeOut” video, Texas dives deep into a topic often seen as terrible: death. For us as believers, death isn’t the end; it’s not the final stop. No matter how tough things get, we trust that everything will work out just as it’s meant to. Texas also gently reminds us to be open about the grief and emotions that come with losing someone.
Dive Deeper into Your True Self:
She shares a powerful personal story about Buddy. Even though his family, including Texas, believed a holistic approach was best, it was chemotherapy that actually saved his life. Texas expresses her hope that Buddy will come to a place where he can say: “I’m not usually a pro-chemotherapy person, but because I believe in following what God and the voice of truth inside of me say, I did that and chemotherapy saved my life.”
Yet, Texas emphasizes that her hope for Buddy’s exact realization is none of her business. Our human perspective isn’t always clear, and we truly need God’s guidance on how things unfold. This calls for the discipline to step back and say, “I’m not going to do this my way. I’m going to do what God has called me to do,” even when it feels uncomfortable or doesn’t make sense. It’s all about learning to live well by trusting His path.
