TimeOut: Back To Jail 🦁
I like to be straight up.
Hey guys. I wanted to get on here today and tell you that Billy Walker is back in jail.
I’m telling you that because I like to be straight up about everything. As excited and happy as I was for Billy, and as sure as I was that he was going to do the right thing, it only takes a second to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
He was with his brothers, and one of them had weed. He isn’t supposed to be around that, and it gave them the right to pick him up. They are also saying he has outstanding warrants, which is all very strange, but it’s where he is.
Watch Who You Hang Around
The point of all of this is: Watch what you do. Who you hang around with matters.
If you are trying to change your life—like stopping smoking—you shouldn’t be hanging out with people who smoke. It’s common sense, but we often think we are strong enough to handle it. One split second of a wrong decision, and there is a consequence to pay.
God Knows What’s Best
I feel very sad for Billy. But I know that God always does what is best. Maybe this little scare was enough to keep him from doing something worse a year from now.
Trying to figure these things out is dangerous because when we can’t make sense of it, we get mad at God. Instead, settle in your mind that God knows what He is doing. And instead of judging Billy, look for what needs to change about you.
