TimeOut: Trusting Anyway π¦
An Update on Buddy
I got my hippie earrings on today! But the main thing I am thinking about is my brother, Buddy. I haven’t spoken about him in a while, and I know many of you have prayed and supported us during the worst parts of his cancer journey so far.
Recently, they found a dark spot on his lymph nodes. They wanted to do a biopsy, and initially, they were going to puncture him to get it. But it appears that when you puncture something with cancer, it can release it into your entire body. It is a very scary thing.
Making the Hard Decisions
When he got to the hospital, the doctor came in and said, “I don’t want to do this. It’s too invasive.” Instead, they hooked him up to go down his throat, which is way less invasive.
Of course, that might not get the exact results they want, and they might have to do something else later. But it’s God in the middle of it, always reminding us that you just do what He says, and He will take care of the rest.
Trusting Him Anyway
We believe that God is good no matter what. That is what serving God looks like.
“Trusting Him anyway. Believing that He is good no matter what.”
I also want to share some good news: My brother Curtis has lost over 125 pounds and his heart is doing better! My father also went in for another ablation and has been amazingly better since then. God is faithful.
If you have something you want me to pray for, leave it in the comments below. I care about your family, too.
Love you guys,
