Reward yourself πŸ₯‰

Reminder:

Reward yourself πŸ₯‰

Encouragement:

If you feel like progress is unattainable, then it’s time to examine the source of these thoughts. Every effective movement is garnished by My invitation to adjust your attitude and gain momentum. Take advantage of each season of waiting by paying careful attention to My instructions. This will guarantee that your changes are sure and lasting. It is important that you appreciate the fact that all fabulous accomplishments are achieved by your choice to submit. So, when you win celebrate yourself.

Guidance:

β€œExamine your own works so that if you are proud, it will be because of your own accomplishments and not someone else’s.”
β€” Galatians 6:4 (VOICE)

  1. B. F. Skinner, the famous behaviorist used rewards to train animals. Teachers use his behavior modification techniques every day but most people don’t know about his 3rd level technique to modify your own behavior. This is a good way to overcome nagging bad habits. Setting goals with specific rewards can motivate us to accomplish those goals. Making yourself wait before you can do something fun, have a special meal, or get a fancy item brings discipline to your life.

    • If you’ve ever been to Aldi’s grocery store you know that you must insert a quarter to use a cart. It always amazes me how dedicated we are to go back and get that quarter but how lazy we are to take the carts back at a store that does not have the system. We definitely respond to rewards. Thanks so much for this comment.
