Even when those around you don’t treat you with the kindness you deserve, I see you, know you, and love you. Receiving and believing this truth will cause you to raise your head and become sure of your value. Every circumstance and situation that’s convinced you you are nothing but a throwaway has been a lying voice. Listening to Me will make real to you the fact that I am fully devoted to you. You matter.
Guidance:
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

I shared this with a friend of mine who is struggling with doubt. He is a wonderful man plagued by a critical family that undermines his self-confidence.
I was also a victim of the same thing for years. Through confidence in our Creator, I learned they weren’t as critical as I thought they were and also learned that if they were critical, or if I thought they were, it didn’t change who I was.
I wish I lived it every day perfectly. I will print this out as a daily reminder. Thank you for speaking our Father’s words to us every day.
