Proof of a Radical Difference
People say people in prison can’t change. That right there is the lie. Staring at these letters every morning reminds me why we do this.
“Your book was not like others I’ve read. You did so much and went through so much that it’s amazing you’re alive and have your mind.”
— Lucas
“In prison, we don’t really have much to look forward to… Our visit from Texas was like a big cup of warm sunshine on a cold rainy day.”
— John
“Prison is at times a hopeless place. Your message gave us a reason to keep hoping. If you can [overcome], so can we.”
— William
“Thank you for teaching me that I am a new creature. That was yesterday. The old me is not me anymore.”
— Ryan
“This day has helped me to know how to forgive others, myself, and God. I never thought I needed to forgive myself or even God.”
— Devolution
“I too accepted Jesus at a young age… it led me down a road of suicidal thoughts… until I finally read God’s word. The Bible.”
— Robert
“God certainly does use our stinking thinking for his glory. Now I’m working out my salvation because I was sick and tired.”
— Travis
“I read your book in one day. I lived the same life as you for 33 years. Your voice is powerful and I got your message.”
— Stan
